Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora

Pardhan PSGPC | Minister for Minorities Affairs, Punjab

Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora is a prominent Sikh leader and entrepreneur from Pakistan, affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) party. Born on October 11, 1974, in Nankana Sahib, he became the first Sikh to hold the office of Provincial Minister of Punjab. He has been a dedicated advocate for Sikh rights and interfaith harmony, spearheading the landmark Punjab Sikh Anand Karaj Marriage Act in 2018. He was appointed Minister for Minorities Affairs on March 7, 2024, by CM Maryam Nawaz. He also serves as the President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee.
