To create a welcoming and sacred environment for Sikh pilgrims, fostering spiritual connection and cultural preservation through the efficient management of Gurdwaras and religious ceremonies.
Future Growth & Expansion Plans
PSGPC plans to improve and expand facilities for Sikh pilgrims visiting key gurdwaras such as Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur, Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib, and others. This includes enhancing medical services, accommodation facilities and transportation.
The committee intends to continue the restoration and expansion of gurdwaras to preserve these sites for future generations. This involves structural repairs, renovation, and adding modern amenities without compromising religious and cultural integrity.
PSGPC plans to establish more libraries and museums to showcase Sikh history and literature, creating educational hubs for Sikh studies. These initiatives will serve not only the Sikh community in Pakistan but also promote understanding of Sikhism globally.
PSGPC aims to engage more with the global Sikh diaspora, encouraging Sikh communities worldwide to participate in the preservation of Sikh heritage in Pakistan. This involves hosting international Sikh conferences, expanding the role of PSGPC on the global stage.
The committee plans to leverage technology by creating digital platforms for outreach and communication. This includes online donation systems, virtual tours of historical gurdwaras, and providing information about religious events to engage the young generation of Sikhs worldwide.
PSGPC plans to ensure long-term financial and operational sustainability by improving the management of donations and funding, while also seeking additional resources from global Sikh organizations to sustain the continuous development and upkeep of Sikh religious sites.
